EVMARK…Who We Are and What We Do
EVMARK’s staff members organize and implement programming and activities to
market and maintain Downtown Evanston. In the marketing realm, EVMARK works to
attract both consumers and investors to Downtown Evanston. EVMARK promotes Downtown Evanston in multiple media—print, including trade publications, radio, and
electronic—and through special events, such as the “It’s Thursday!” dance series. Many
of EVMARK’s Downtown marketing programs have received national and regional
recognition because of their strong emphasis on promoting Downtown as a ‘place.’
EVMARK manages downtown’s physical environment in a close partnership with the City of Evanston. Downtown maintenance is an equally important component to
Downtown Evanston’s success and to EVMARK’s work. Maintaining Downtown’s
attractive and exciting physical environment reinforces EVMARK’s marketing efforts
and makes Downtown Evanston desirable for shopping, eating, working, living, and most
importantly, enjoying! |
